Located in Cobleskill, NY, Little Sunflowers Child Care is a NYS OCFS Licensed Group Family Daycare. We are committed to providing quality care to children aging from 8 weeks until their first day of Kindergarten. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing, loving, and educational environment where everyone feels welcomed.

Meet the provider!

Tasha Amey

Hi everyone! I’m Tasha, the owner/on-site provider of Little Sunflowers Child Care. I have been in the childcare field since 2019, with experience at both centers and in-home daycare. Caring for and nurturing young children is not just a career for me, it’s a passion; there’s nothing more rewarding than watching the children in my care grow and learn new things, knowing I played a huge role in it!

I’m a loving, patient, and hands-on caregiver who believes children thrive best in a space where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. I strive to bring a calm, nurturing energy into our day-to-day routines, and I take pride in creating an environment where each child feels like part of our family!

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, going to concerts, shopping, or just relaxing at home

I enjoy playing an active role in my nephews life, showing up to everything from sports games to countless sleepovers

I love being outdoors and love taking the children outside every chance we get to explore the world around us

I am so excited to aid in the development of young children in our community and giving families peace of mind while they are working!

Meet our assistant!

Lilly Jankowski

Hello everyone! My name is Lillian (you can call me Lilly!) and I am Tasha’s assistant!

My love for childcare started when I was a teenager as I would babysit for family friends, and since then it has become my life & my passion!

I graduated from SUNY Cobleskill in 2024 with my bachelors degree in Early Childhood, and while working on my degree, I have worked in numerous child care settings! I have cherished each and every connection and relationship I have grown with every single child!

Since graduating, I had my son & continue to seek professional growth in my career as a child care provider.

I absolutely love what I do, and I really enjoy meeting families & growing relationships with them as well!

Some fun facts about me include;

-I am a cat person (with two fur babies of my own).

-I enjoy yoga & mindfulness

-My favorite hobbies include reading & playing video games.
